Aerial Map of the Lake District National Park

The original artwork for this map has been hand-painted to a large scale whilst modern graphics was only used to produce the text and print-work.

The result created is an attractive reference map that gives an instant feel and unique panorama of the landscape.
Being a true birds-eye view from an oblique angle the scale compresses between the foreground and the horizon, therefore a variable scale was printed around the edges.
This map, however, must not be used for navigating the Fells when the use of an Ordnance Survey Map is essential for safety.
