Nine Standards Revisited

Whilst the author’s first book about the nine enigmatic stone cairns above the Eden Valley, Nine Standards: Ancient Cairns or Modern Folly?, was based on his methodical research of archives about these remarkable and mysterious monuments, this new volume is the result of evidence from new scientific and archaeological explorations of the site. Slowly the ironic cairns are revealing ever more details about their history
