A collection of poetry by local poet Sally Dalglish.
‘Cretion was not initiated by a He-God (as the Middle-Easterners presumed for 4,000 years) but an everlasting female entity – the Western religions have led us up the garden path to a world of bloodshed and silliness. Men, especially politicians, seem to go about usurping the role of God where a little respect for La Mer, La Terre and Mother Nature might restore the balance. My understandings have come from my work in the Oriental Rug world, my travels and initiations in Egypt, Turkey, India, Japan and elsewhere and my investigations into most religions, which may be props to hang on to, but which I find bogus.’
