From Despair To Delirium

This is an account of two seasons in the life of a League Two football club – Carlisle United-  that proved to be anything but ordinary.

Author Howard Falshaw has supported Carlisle United for over fifty-five years but has never previously been able to commit to the level of support that he’s achieved over the last two seasons. When he started the account two years ago, he could not have imagined that the narrative would reach the perfect ending on a sunny afternoon at Wembley.

The book will have particular interest for supporters of Carlisle United, but will resonate with any fans of lower League clubs who have stuck with their team through thick and thin.
