On Michaelmas Day 2021, Charlie started his third warts-and-all farm diary – a daily record of life while running a conventional mixed 920-acre farm with nhis wife Hazel. Once again, it features every detail of his experiences as a tenant of the National Trust, a journalist, the keyboatrd player in a mediocre covers band and a Tuesday night regular in the Flowerpots.

Little did he know that, within a couple a couple of months, events would turn all plans for his muddy little patch of central Hampshire on their head.
