In the Eye of Storms

In The Eye of Storms follows the history of Cumbria from the earliest times to the end of the Dark Ages. This is history without the boring bits and with a generous sprinkling of humour, legend, whimsy, satire and surrealism.

The story begins with the post-glacial migrations and shows how the Celts, Romans, Anglo-Saxons and Norsemen all left their mark on the Cumbria of today.
